1. Light rain is likely today in some parts of Bengaluru. The weather department has issued a forecast for light showers in the evening. People should carry umbrellas while going out. The temperature will stay around 28 degrees Celsius.
2. Petrol and diesel prices have not changed today across the country. In Delhi, petrol is still priced at ₹96 per litre and diesel at ₹87 per litre. In Bengaluru, petrol costs ₹101 per litre. Prices have been stable for over two weeks now.
3. Gold prices today are close to ₹1.62 lakh for 10 grams across major cities. Silver is trading around ₹3 lakh per kilogram. Prices are stable with small differences between cities. Gold rates are nearly the same in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
4. Thousands of unemployed youth protested in Dharwad, Karnataka today. They gathered at Jubilee Circle demanding the government fill 2.7 lakh vacant posts. The Chief Minister said recruitment will start soon and may be announced in the March 6 budget.
